LOOKING FOR: IT MANAGER | Envizion Philippines, Inc.





Management
  • Plans, organizes, controls and evaluates IT and electronic data operations
  • Designs, develops, implements and coordinates systems, policies and procedures
  • Oversees the development and maintenance of the IT strategic plan
  • Approves and monitors major projects, IT budgets, priorities, standards, procedures, and overall IT performance
  • Reviews the adequacy and allocation of IT resources in terms of funding, personnel, equipment, and service levels
  • Audits, assesses, and identifies problematic areas and implements strategic solutions in time
  • Preserve assets, information security, and structures
  • Manage and train a few member in IT Department.
NA Engineering and Provisioning
  • Provide NA-related solutions for various project and operational needs.
  • Install new or rebuild existing servers/appliance in accordance with the standards (ISMS/Audit), project/operational requirements within allocated budget.
  • Install new middle-ware and configure systems/work-stations to ensure stability and security of our office environment.
  • Develop and maintain installation/configuration procedures.
  • Research and recommend innovative approaches/technology for the continuous improvement of both NA and operational tasks.
Operations and Support
  • Perform regular system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all network resources and processes, reviewing access logs, and verifying completion of scheduled (including automated) jobs such as backups.
  • Perform regular security monitoring to identify threats and prevent possible intrusions.
  • Management (create, update, delete) of user accounts on different environment/application.
  • Provide support per request, investigate and troubleshoot issues within and from various team / department.
  • Repair and recover NA-related infrastructure from failures. Coordinate and relay necessary information to stakeholders.
Maintenance
  • Apply OS or middleware patches and upgrades of network servers and workstations to maintain stability and security. Add new configuration or services if deemed necessary.
  • Upgrade and configure application servers in accordance to project or operational needs.
  • Maintain operational, configuration, and other procedures.
  • Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning.
  • Perform performance tuning, hardware and software upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
Working Conditions:
  • Responsibilities sometimes require working remotely, on late night shifts and weekends, with little to no advanced notice.
Qualifications:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/ Telecommunication) or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position. 
  • Excellent English language conversation and comprehension skills.
  • With critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Skills:
  • Must have knowledge of Windows OS issues and troubleshooting.
  • General installation and configuration of laptop applications.
  • Good understanding of OSI model and TCP/IP model.
  • Should have good knowledge and experience of Cisco routers and switches configurations.
  • Should have good knowledge and experience of some firewall appliance.
  • Knowledgeable of Ruckus and Windows AD is a plus.
